Description: This application report describes the implementation of an altimeter using a fullyintegrated
MCU solution with the MSP430F42x0 family of microcontrollers. An air
pressure sensor is directly interfaced with the MCU-integrated 16-bit sigma/delta data
converter and used for altitude determination. Other implemented functions are air
pressure measurement, temperature measurement and real-time clock
