RSA is the most influential public-key encryption algorithm, it can resist all known password attack so far, has been recommended for ISO public key data encryption standard. RSA algorithm is based on a number of very simple fact: to multiply two large prime numbers is very easy, but then you want their product is extremely difficult to factorization, it can be the product of the public as the encryption key.
