Description: The works presented in this dissertation are focussed on the design and the development of a
diagnosis procedure by parameter estimation for stator and rotor faults in induction motor.
Firstly, we review briefly the main techniques for fault detection in electrical utilities in the aim to study theirs performances. Secondly, we have developed a new approach based on the
introduction of a faulty model in the healthy one in order to explain the faults and a parameter estimation method with integration of physical knowledge. Used for faults detection occurring in magnetic core, experimental test results exhibit good agreement and demonstrate the possibility of detection and localization of di?erent failures.
