Description: The SMSCIR sample implements a driver for a Consumer IR receiver for Windows Vista with Media Center. This driver works with the SMSC SIO1049 SuperIO chip and is intended to show how to write a Consumer IR Receiver/Transceiver driver for Windows Vista with Media Center. This sample driver works with the CirClass.sys driver and implements IR input, IR learning, and IR blasting. For IR input, it works with all Media Center compatible IR Remote Controls.
