Description: Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is the fourth generation mobile communications core technology. This article first introduces the basic principles of OFDM, focus on the ideal synchronous case, protection time slot (CP) and different channel estimation in the Gaussian channel and multipath Rayleigh fading channel on the OFDM system performance. In the OFDM system model is given based on the MATLAB language with the computer simulation of the entire system and gives reference to the design process. Finally, in a different channel conditions, the protection time slot, channel estimation method for OFDM system, the comparison of bit error rate curves, obtained better results.
