Description: Hard link is to use Linux distribution for each physical file number- inode link is established. Therefore, hard links can not span file systems. (With ls-i command to view the directory the file s inode programming).
Soft link (symbolic link) is used to link the file path name. Create soft links usually use absolute paths instead of relative path in order to maximize portability.
