Description: Relay transmission is a promising technique for next generation wireless communications systems as it has the potential to provide broader coverage and overcome the impairments of the wireless channel. Even though, the wireless relays have the ability to maximise coverage, they have a problem of asymmetric capacity in the sense that the capacity from source to relay and that from the relay to destination may not be equal.
