Description: For embedded devices during multimedia data processing resource limitations, the use of an open source video server software MJPG-streamer multimedia data processing and storage, based on the characteristics of the software architecture, by modifying MJPG-streamer source code, add new functional modules, to enhance the capabilities of the software. Cross-compiling and re-ported to embedded systems, in order to achieve a control front-end devices based Arm9 embedded remote video surveillance system. The experimental results show that the method as well enhance the effect of the video data processing, and smooth playback in the client browser.
