Description: Error diffusion is a more popular and better halftone method was first proposed by the Floyd-Steinberg in 1975, a long time, this method has been widely used. The basic idea is to first determine a threshold pixel value according to the quantized image, and the quantization error diffusion in a particular way to the neighboring unprocessed pixels. This method requires neighborhood processing, it can provide a higher quality halftone printing equipment and does not cause dot gain, halftone image produced no obvious moire, visual effects better.
