Description: Wind tunnel is a pipe-like experimental equipment which can artificially generate and control airflow, simulate air flow in the surrounding of aerial vehicles and objects,measure the effect that airflow deals with objects, and investigate physical phenomena. This paper designs a low-speed wind tunnel opening with the maximum wind velocity 50m/s. this wind tunnel possesses outstanding advantages of less-room occupancy, less investment, suitable for indoor use. Its main components include gas collecting devices, cellular devices, turbulent mesh, fairing, cascade-type counterclockwise shearing deflector, and etc. Its major structural design composes the calculation of various parts’ energy loss, the design of fan, type selection of engine, verification of structure and energy, and so forth.
