Description: AVO (Amplitude Versus Offset, amplitude variation with offset) technologies used to study the seismic reflection amplitude with distance shot and receiver variation between that gun seized from (or incidence angle) to investigate the response of the reflection coefficient with gun offsets (or incidence angle) changes, and to determine the reflector cover, lithology and physical parameters of the underlying media. With AVO analysis, geophysicists can better assess reservoir rock properties, including porosity, density, lithology and fluid content.
