Description: The HTTP client open source JAR package HTTP protocol is one of the most important protocols for the Internet today. In addition to the WEB browser, WEB services, web-based applications, and the growing network computing expanded the role of the HTTP protocol, making more and more applications need the support of the HTTP protocol. While the JAVA class library.net package provides basic functionality to access network resources using the HTTP protocol, its flexibility and capabilities are far from satisfying the needs of many applications. The Jakarta Commons HttpClient component seeks to provide more flexible, more efficient HTTP protocol support, simplifying the creation of applications based on the HTTP protocol. HttpClient provides a number of features that support the latest HTTP standards and can be accessed here to learn more about HttpClinet. There are a number of open source projects that have been used in HttpClient's HTTP capabilities to view these projects. This article USES the class libraries provided by HttpClinet to access and download web pages on the Internet, and in the following sections, you will detail the two ways to request network resources: Get requests and Post requests.
