Description: Smurf attacks use the ICMP reply request (Ping) packet to set the reply address to the broadcast address of the victim network to drown the injured host, resulting in all the hosts of the network respond to the ICMP reply request, resulting in network blocking. The more complex Smurf changed the source address to the victim of the third party, which eventually led to the collapse of the third party.
