 Description: Firstly, the working principle and mathematical model of photovoltaic cells are described. According to the mathematical model, a general engineering simulation model of photovoltaic cells is built in MATLAB simulation software. At the same time, according to the parameters provided by the manufacturer, the output characteristic curves of photovoltaic cells are analyzed, and the effects of light intensity and ambient temperature on photovoltaic cells are studied. Secondly, the working principle of MPPT control algorithm is introduced, and the advantages and disadvantages of four common control algorithms are compared. Aiming at the problem that single control algorithm can not give consideration to tracking accuracy and response speed, the fuzzy control MPPT combination algorithm based on disturbance observation method is analyzed and a new combined MPPT algorithm, namely voltage-based, is proposed. Self optimizing perturbation observation algorithm.
