You can use telnet program to connect to the port job-scheduler is listenning for incomming connections on the host computer. Then you can get information about the current scheduled jobs, add, stop or start jobs or kill the job-scheduler program. Job-scheduler can also load input files which contain information about some jobs to be scheduled.
