Diagonalized ADI Navier-Stokes (DUNS) Code
The DUNS code is a 2d/3d, structured, multi-block, multi-species, unsteady or
steady, Navier Stokes fluid dynamics code with the q-omega turbulence model.
It is configurable on several different levels allowing you to make the code
as general or as efficient as you desire. It has been developed on Linux,
Cray, RISC6000 and to a lesser extent SGI and HP architectures.
It is written in FORTRAN-77 and C. It has been used primarily as a research
code, and because of that, the coding can be at times rather undocumented
and unclear.

With a strong focus on hydraulic, coastal, offshore and environmental engineering, as well as Marine CFD, the use of the level-set method enables it to calculate complex free surface flows. The model is implemented in highly modular C++ and the source code is available under the GPL license. The MPI library is used for parallelization, making REEF3D the perfect tool for high performance CFD calculations. The model is currently under development and additional features are added in a fast pace. The goal is to make the full transition from a research tool to a powerful engineering software.
