The remote control system designed and implemented in the paper is based on ARM embedded platform and Linux operating system. The system mainly included three modules: remote control terminal system, control server system and controlled terminal system. It implemented short message receiving and sending based on GSM module, data transmission of GPRS, video capture, Bluetooth wireless communications, DC motor speed control and remote terminal Human-Computer Interaction and so on. The system can be widely applied to smart homes, industrial capture and mechanized production of remote control aspects.
