Description: Abstract:The features of ZigBee make it suitable for the application of data acquisition system. In this paper, the
design of the ZigBee-based data acquisition system is proposed. Both hardware design of the ZigBee nodes and
the design of network forming are specifically investigated, with the former stressing on the design of the
CC2430-based data acquisition nodes. Also, the mechanism of network-forming using coordinator and the
network node-joining-or-disjoining is discussed. The paper is ended with a design case of the ZigBee network
for temperature acquisition which demonstrates satisfactory communication results.
