Description: The model of three slabs waveguide is set up, and detailed electric equations are deduced. Put data into the electric equations and calculate them the waveguide models are not the same, when the thickness of the waveguide layer changes. Then, three-dimensional graphs of various TE modes are plot. At last, application of three slabs waveguide in laser mode theory is introduced.
