Based on a special-purpose control platform with dual Digital Signal Processor-DSPs (TMS320LF2407) for a high power converter, this paper describes the design method of a general-purpose control platform. The control platform uses a fixed-point DSP (TMS320F2812) and a floating-point DSP (TMS320VC33).
